I watch you as you go about your day

frantic, trying to get things done

check things off your to do list

including your time with me

I am just waiting to grab your attention

thirsty for your love. 

Your time with me isn’t a chore

When you spend time with me I get to spend time with you

And that time is precious to me

Won’t you just sit with me?

And I want you to understand

But my timing is perfect
